Baby Music, Also For Daddies

Tonight, when I got home, Daniel was completely, wonderfully unrestrained in his happiness to see me - more than usual, which is saying a lot, because all three children tend to yell "Daddy!" and throw themselves at me when I walk in the door, which is the best part of the day.

This evening, a couple of minutes after I had come into the house, Daniel asked me if I would like him to play me some music, and gently led me by the hand to the family room, where he put on an eclectic classical music CD and played Track #4, which is one of his two favorites. As it was playing, Ian announced, "This is what I call 'Baby Music," the kind that cheers up babies," and then went on to talk about how he would play this particular track for Madeleine when she was a baby to make her happy.
