The Gift of Now

A few weeks ago, I heard Daniel say in the car, rather out of the blue, "There's no time like the present."

I was impressed at his pithy eloquence, at such a young age, but then the boys explained that this is something I say all the time, which I'm sure is true.

Ian challenged Daniel: "Daniel, you don't even know what the present is."

But Daniel readily identified the present, in its ideal form: "Umm... Legos."
