Probing Santa's Personal Life

Tonight, Daniel asked me, "Daddy, does Santa ever sleep?"

He continued along the lines of "Like after he delivers all his presents?"

Interesting question. I suppose the confusion might be compounded by the understanding that Santa sees you when you're sleeping; how is he supposed to see you if he's not awake all that time?

I have no formal investment in the Santa Paradigm; I don't promote it, but I also don't disillusion enchanted youth on the subject matter, but Ian stepped up to the plate:

"Well, he is a Saint..."
