Love of Frogs, in Two Modes

Ian explained his position on Frogs to Daniel:

"I'm a frog-lover, not for food, but for the actual animal. I know I eat way more than you, but I love animals."

This was after Daniel, who knows that Ian loves frogs, inquired as to where he might be able to procure some frog legs to eat. Daniel then clarified that he loves frogs, too. Daniel wanted to know whether he loved them as animals, or for food. Daniel said sometimes as animals.
