Do as I say: don't relax
This morning, I woke up sometime before 6:00 and realized that I had some work to do ("'work'-work"), so I got up and logged onto my laptop. Unfortunately, not too long after 7:00, Ian also woke up, realized that it was a time for the guys of the house to be up and about, and joined me. he started by reading his Narnia volume ("Voyage of the Dawn Treader," I think), but by the time I was ready to konk out again catch up on sleep, he was eager to "play" with me, and woke me up at roughly 8-minute intervals for an hour or so, asking if we could play.

This afternoon, Ian asked me if the children could watch a movie. I whined, "Oh, no, Ian, it's a beautiful summer afternoon. You should really be out enjoying the day."
Ian put this conversion of mine into perspective:
"That's not what you thought this morning."
I was genuine confused at first, but then he explained:
"Stay asleep and be lazy."
