Actually, Daniel, Ian went out for a drive...

Ian slept in Madeleine's room last night (while Madeleine slept in our bed with Mommy), and Daniel, who was the first one to wake up this morning, was apparently pondering the mystery of the missing Ian, sitting on the couch, when I came downstairs this morning.

After I said "Good morning," to him, he volunteered his thought process in trying to determine Ian's whereabouts. He had looked in a couple of places, but not Madeleine's room, so he was still puzzled as to where Ian was. After listing off the places he had already looked, he semi-concluded:

"He must be here, because he can't sleep by himself... Can he?"
