Tent City Recriminations

Amy was quite horrified to come downstairs the other night and find a complex tent structure in the front hall. Actually, it was more like a complex. There were two dining-room chairs with a blanket draped over them, very evenly and thoroughly, and next to that was Madeleine's play-house "lean-to," as I call it (because it's like the shell of a house, with no door, which works pretty well for three-year-olds). It was placed on the floor with the open side facing up, and it, too, had a blank draped over the inside.

So litigation began. Amy wanted to know who was responsible for it, and each party acquitted himself spectacularly:

Daniel: Ian was the one who created it.

Ian: And you're the one who helped me.

I'm not sure we have only one Attorney McDershowitz in the house...

In any case, the indignation seems to have worn off, and the structure still stands.
