Diagnostic Breakthrough

The other evening, Daniel showed me cuts on his skin from where he had scratched what seems like mosquito bites. Even Madeleine had little band-aids all over her arms and legs from that condition at the beginning of the weekend. Then we moved on to my own, well-known chronic hives condition: Daniel asked me whether perhaps a similar kind of itching is causing my hives. I told him that the hives cause itching, but it's not itching that causes hives. At that point, Doctor Daniel cut the proverbial Gordian Knot, and diagnosed my enigmatic condition:

"I think you're acclergic to somefing you ate."
