Starbucks Bonanza and Some Perspective on Prizes

We just registered with StarBucks to win a prize, logging some awful ten-digit from the inside of a Starbucks wrapper into a textbox on their webiste, and I got the thrilling news that we won "some candy," and they're going to send it to our house in four to six weeks, now that I have submissively submitted my home address, email address, and - quite essentially - phone number onto a form which will likely have no bearing on any database that they would ever think about using in the future for subsequent promotions.

Daniel quite correctly pointed out that candy is not as good as toys.

Then he gave it some more thought and added:

"..But I would say that TV is worser* than toys, but not as worse as candy."

*"Worser" and "worse" here do not imply that anything is actually bad - surely there's nothing bad about toys, candy or watching TV. Rather, it is a synonym for "not as good as."
