Marshmallow Hors D'oeuvres

Ian called me outside to help him retrieve a bag of marshmallows from Amy's car. He then proceeded with a project, making a special snack out of marshmallows and small pretzels. Ian's recipe consisted of a mashmallow sandwiched within two pretzels. He then made a couple of Daniel's delicacies, which involved actually splitting the marshmallow in two and making a kind of open-faced pretzel sandwhich out of each.

Then he reflected on the similarities and differences between these two recipes:

"They both have the same taste, but different styles. One is like a sandwhich, one is like s'mores, and one is like a lollipop. I'm sorry we didn't have tmie to make a lollipop."

I was okay with no lollipop. Maybe next time...

It turned out that he didn't care for the pretzels themselves, which affected the overall quality of the dish:

"It didn't taste very good to me, but I"m sure that anyone who likes that kind of pretzel would like it."
