A Long-Awaited Morning

Ian was campaigning to get me out of bed this morning. He had a particular project in mind - photocopying the four comic books that he wrote over the past week. Usually, his campaign on a Saturday morning is focused around reading books together.

I gently encouraged the lad to let me sleep, at which point he said:

"But Daddy, it's Saturday - I've been waiting a long time for today!"

That worked.
