Keeping Houdini at Bay

Unfortunately, Daniel knows that the little green tab on the inside of my car's trunk is actually a kind of escape-valve for any human being who might be trapped therein. I have no idea how he acquired this knowledge, but being Daniel, he's rather eager to put it to the test, although that will never happen:

"Daddy, can you close the trunk, because I can pull the green thing and get out?"
