Gum Artisanship
This evening, Daniel proudly produced a long, flat, pink piece of gum from his mouth, and displayed it. I admired it on queue, and then he asked me a highly logical question, in very technical terms:
He was pleased to hear that you don't need flavor in your gum in order to produce a bubble. However, the actual task of creating one calls for more precision. I described the process of making a somewhat rounder, although equally flat, surface in order to lay the groundwork for a bubble. At that point, Daniel asked me if I would do it for him...
