George Lucas Meets The Waltons
Ian's instructions, as he dons the "Dark Vader" to Daniel, the designated "Stormtrooper", as both clutch their pink plastic light sabers (or "life savers," I think they still call them), with John Williams's fanfare playing in the background:
"Yeah, Dark Vader becomes good right now, so he's fighting his own Stormtroopers, which still are bad."
Madeleine, wearing her shiny purple Batman cape, watched on.
Afterwards, Ian narrated the outcome:
"Dark Vader was good, the Storm Trooper was bad, Madeleine was Prince Lea, and she watched, and at the end, Luke came over and they hugged."
Of course, I was happy to hear more about this:
It turns out that Daniel played the role of multiple, successive Stormtroopers: each time Dark Vader would slay a Storm Trooper, Daniel would lie down, signifying the demise of that particular rank-and-file villain, and then, like the phoenix from the ashes or the each pharaoh "becoming" the new Osiris as his newly-deceased "becomes" Horus, Daniel would become another fresh Stormtrooper, and the cycle would repeat itself.
Meanwhile, Madeleine stepped out of her exclusively-Batgirl role to become Prince Lea, and Daniel achieved full regeneration at the end, as Luke, who became reunited with his now-self-redeemed father as they embraced.
