Young Romantic

Ian asked me why not everybody is married. I said some people are happier not being married, some people aren't really constituted for marriage and unfortunately some people never find the right person to marry.

He asked me whether there's somebody for everyone to marry. I said I don't think so. (I realize that this is a heresy in the present age.) But Ian dissented:

"I think everybody has someone out there who would be the right one to marry."
