Siamese Superlative

Thinking about going out to eat tonight, I asked Ian what he'd like - Vietnamese, Thai, Cambodian cuisine, and of course he piped up "Thai!" and then pointed out the absurdity of straining to figure out which restaurant to pick: "We already know the best Thai place in the world."

That, of course, would be our little home-away-from-home where the owner's wife buys us presents and the Pad Thai is definitely the best we've had. But I loved Ian's confidence that there could not possibly be a better place than the one we already frequent.
