Sharpening Ethical Literacy
As Ian was reading to me yesterday, I learned an important moral principle:
"Henesty is the best policky."
Ian had read this chapter before, in a book designed to teach children ethical and social reasoning, called, "I Did It - I'm Sorry."
I offered him an alternative rendering of the proverb cited above, and he told me that now the whole thing made sense: until we revisited that chapter together, it was the one chapter that hadn't completely made sense to him.
