Ian's Car
For a couple of weeks, Ian had been fostering the dream of converting Madeleine's slightly broken shopping cart (in which she still gives her dolls rides) and one slightly broken toddler folding chair, into a new-fangled vehicle for the transport of things such as stuffed dogs. The main strategy was to get the "chassis" of the cart back in working order - particularly the frame around the wheels, for proper mobility - and then to bind the folding chair to the top of the cart, in folded position, so that its legs can function as new handlebars to steer the craft.
Being Ian, and particularly being the engineer that he is, he put together an entire diagram, on a sizable swath easel-paper, to show exactly what measures would be applied where, and what objects would appear in the finished product. The diagram had many lines, connecting labels to points on the sketch of the finished product, and these are the main labels on the diagram, which is entitled "My Car":
* Gloo
* Stufed Dog
* Box
* Gloo
* char [no, C programmers - this is a synonym for "seat"]
* Gloo
* Gloo
* handel [don't get excited, music-lovers...]
[bottom part:]
* bascit
* weel
* Tape + Gloo
