Dog Humor Duly Noted

I have finally devised a way of keeping the crazier of our two puppies, Ruthie, in the kitchen, by wrapping a small bungee cord around the latch to the metallic baby-gate that now separates the kitchen from the rest of the house, so that she can't open it with her teeth. So I told Ian, who loves the "Benji" movie series, that if we were to make a movie about our own dog, we would have to entitle it " Bungee."

There was a pause, followed by a spot of laughter:

"That's kind of a joke - a good one.
