Attorney McDershowitz Endeavors to Deconstruct the Tooth Fairy

Amy dispatched Ian to see whether the tooth fairy had come by last night. He did come by - actually in the morning, but the newly tooth-diminished lad apparently forgot to check when he got up. All of this notwithstanding, Ian went straight for the forensics:

Ian: I know how that's a lie!

Amy: How?

Ian: I did not sleep with a pillow last night*... I found it under Daddy's pillow**. It has some red on it.***

*Maybe not, but he slept with a pillow before I left for work this morning.

**I didn't realize that Daddy explicitly had a pillow, until just now.

***True - a line of red on the rim of the bill, but I don't see how that undermines the toothfairy's case.
