A Worthy Project for Dirty Cheerios
Daniel had me choose from a few strips of ribbon he had cut, and were dangling over the edge of his hand waiting for me to select one. As I took a purple one, he gave me a pretty good idea about how I can put it to good use:
"You can put some dirty Cheerios on it and make it into a necklace."
Auntie Ann, who is visiting and present at the dining room table during the transaction, said that probably when they undertook a crafts project along those lines in his pre-school, the teacher properly warned them that the Cheerios were dirty and they shouldn't attempt to eat them - hence the permanent moniker.
