Profanity in the Extreme

Daniel has discovered the power of words.

When he gets upset now, he loves to yelp "Darn it!" [This is very upsetting for Ian.]

Daniel once asked me what "darn it" means, and I explained that it means, "Fix it with a needle and thread." [Yes, and Fiddlesticks is a game for children...] So he doesn't understand how it could be taboo... but of course he still loves pronouncing it to register a protest, or otherwise just to torture Ian.
