Frightened with the Very Best

Last night, we saw "Tangled," Disney's recent animated (Pixar-ish) rendition of Rapunzel, in 3-D. The children were scared in all the right parts. Batman and Robin also attended, in miniature, in Daniel's excellent care.

To my delight, when the boys were talking, this morning, about the arrest of the mischievous leading man, Flynn Rider, neither Ian nor Daniel turned out to have "handcuffs" in their vocabulary. They both talked about something like "that thing that was holding his hands together."

But Daniel told me that both Batman and Robin were scared when the witch, who looked like Cher (something for everyone, I suppose), was dragging Rapunzel up to the tower, both superheroes were scared, "but Batman more" (to my surprise). I asked Daniel is *he* was scared as well, and he said that he was - more scared than Robin, but less scared than Batman:

"That's why I covered up my 3-D glasses with my hands."
