Spontaneous Evening Shopping Sprees at the Batman Store

Daniel, on the phone with his aunt one evening this past summer, told her that he wanted a Batman costume. About ten minutes after their conversation, the boys were speculating as to where Auntie had gone, and what she was doing, at that very moment.

Daniel: I think she's either gone to bed or to a Batman store to look for a costume for me.

Daniel pointed out that Batman is Auntie Ann's favorite super-hero, too.'

But Ian understood that people don't always run right off to Batman stores: "Daniel, I think she's probably doing work around the house."
