Life on the Farm

This week, the boys are going to day camp. Ian is going, unsurprisingly, to "Space Camp", and Daniel is going to "Farm Camp." On the surface, the idea of combining categories of "Daniel" and "Farm Camp" might seem a bit hilarious - rather like Pauly Shore in his movie "Farm Hand." But really, Daniel is very wholesome, whether he likes it or not, and he had a fabulous time on his first day at Farm Camp. (Amy knew he'd love it.)

When Amy went to pick him up, with Ian and Madeleine in tow, they passed a donkey, and Daniel called out, "Hi, Bessie."

This inside knowledge completely impressed Ian: "You know that donkey's name???"

Sometimes, it's about who you know...
