Flowers that span the seasons
In an outpouring of Paschal festivity, Daniel has been picking flowers from the front yard and giving them to Mommy, or sometimes asking me to give them to her for him.
A few minutes ago, he presented me with a long, dark-brown, completely desiccated, beyond-wilted flower and said, "Daddy, give this one to Mommy."
Ian provided some commentary:
"Daniel, that one's a little rusty, I think."
