Cough-Drop Concerns

Daniel nabbed one of those free hard-candies from a bowl at the counter of a Vietnamese restaurant where we ate the other day, but the "candy" turned out to be a cough-drop, so he quickly handed it to me (yum!) and moved on with his life, announcing that it didn't taste very good.

Ian was curious as to why Daniel didn't like his candy, so I told the boys it was actually a cough drop, and tried to explain what a cough drop was. [I never understood how "the market" sustains a product of that type...]

After my brief attempt at an explanation, Daniel put the situation in perspective: "What I'm concerned with is the minty kind of taste."
