When Seventh Birthday is Relative

Ian showed me a picture of an elaborate birthday cake in one of his story books and said, "Daddy, I want to have that when I'm seven."

At that point, Daniel piped in, "I want to have that cake when I'm seven, too."

Immediately after that, Ian explained to Daniel that he [Daniel] will not be seven for several more birthdays; something along the lines of, "First you'll be five, and then you'll be six, and then you'll be seven."
