Ian was campaigning to get me to let him watch a DVD, then Daniel corrected his terminology:

Ian: Daddy, I know Madeleine's a couch potato too, so I think she'd like to watch a DVD.

Daniel: Ian, couch potatoes are potatoes that peole drop on the couch
