Total Immersion

We were in Chinatown and eventually I finally got Ian to stop saying "Hola" to everyone he met, and we explored "Ni hao" instead. I guess Ian got rather intrigued by Chinese, because he ran over to where two ladies were talking on a plaza, listened to their conversation, faithfully tried to memorize a phrase that he heard, and sincerely wanted to know what it meant. The query was more-or-less as follows:

"What does 'Chua da isha mood' mean? I think it's Chinese."
