PLEZ RED DAZ POST
Ian proudly showed me a note that he worked on, and attached too his case of videos entitled "Benji The Ultimate 4-Movie Connection". He told me that he had "sounded it out," which you could probably tell from the phonics. The note, which he attached to the case with two colorful gauze stickers (one shaped like a star, the other shaped like an octopus), is intended to convey the following:
"Please be good with this DVD. Ian."
But it's actually written as follows:
PLE
ZBE
GOO
DWE
FDAZ
DV
D
IAN
It would make a bit more sense if words were grouped together, as follows:
PLEZ BE GOOD WEF DAZ DVD IAN
One final touch:
Because he didn't have space to complete the message at the bottom, he continues it (between DAZ and DVD) at the first line above the line where the message began, and continues each subsequent line on the line above the previous one.
The unredacted text reads more or less as follows:
IAN
D
DV
PLE
ZBE
GOO
DWE
FDAZ
The purpose of this note is to ensure that anyone who handles the Benji videos - the jewel in Ian's video treasury - should do so with care.
