Greeting the Next Generation

Walking across Chinatown last night, I saw a rather spirited man, probably in his late 40's, approaching us - looked like he might be homeless, but probably not, but nevertheless rather eccentric, in a pleasant way. I got the feeling he might have something interesting to say, and I was right. When he saw the boys, he yelped out, "Oh! How ya' doin' there, Future?"
