Request for Supervision

Ian went out on the porch and called very loudly for me. I went downstairs to see what he wanted, and found him playing on the porch with Daniel. I asked him what he needed, and he provided a very sensible answer:

"I wanted you to watch us, in case we decided to do something we're not supposed to."

This has to be a first-born thing. I have never in my life asked an authority figure to keep me out of trouble, and I have a hard time imagining Daniel ever even thinking of making this kind of request...
