Informed Apiology

I was picking floating dead bees out of the kiddie pool during the lads' "swim" time, and trying to explain bee anatomy to them, as best a history major can, or maybe not even that well...

Suddenly, Daniel volunteered: "Daddy, according to my research, bees sting us."

[This was more of a shock to me before I learned that this was a quotation from Arnold in "The Magic School Bus,", but it's still rather wild to hear coming out of a three-year-old...]
