Wonderful, in spite of his pugilism

Ian was doing something amusing, and I said quietly to Daniel, "He's a funny boy."

Daniel had a more complex assessment of his brother:

"Ian's not a funny boy. He's wonderful, but he does fight and hit me. He knocked me down, too."
