Compassion Even for the Wild Beasts

D.J., our West Highland Terrier/Poodle-mix, is 15 years old, and Madeleine, who is one, and human, has been exploring DJ.'s face, ears, mouth, fur, etc. And D.J. doesn't seem to like the exploratory sessions very much.

This morning, Ian said he wished D.J. were a younger dog so that she could run away from Madeleine.
