Fivehead Injury

Daniel and Ian were jumping around last night, and Daniel banged his head. Mommy predictably scooped him up and made all the right noises (she doesn't have to work at it; she's at least as upset as the boys when a head-bangin' type thing happens), and she asked him if the bang was on his forehead.

At that point, Daniel started talking, in a way that nobody could understand, about what sounded like "five heads". After some dialog, Amy figured out what he was saying:

It wasn't his forehead that was hurt. It was his fivehead. It was higher than his forehead, slightly above the hairline, hence, his fivehead.

[This brings to mind an incident from the pre-Twolads-blog era, when there was foot-and-mouth going around our extended family, and Ian heard us talking about it; he was probably slightly younger than Daniel is, at that point. He heard that someone had "Foot and Mouth", and he announced that he had "Finger Nose". People have been talking about "finger nose" for years now...]
