Ian, firstborn and the most authoritarian personalilty in our house, has found a sibling-vigilante adaptation to a disciplinary measure sometimes inflicted on him and Daniel by their parents. Ian was trying to get Daniel to clean up some toy-mess where they were playing today, and he told him something like:

"I'm going to count to ten, and if you're not [picking up X] by the time I'm done, I'm going to ask Daddy to put you in timeout."
