It's a vehicle-eat-vehicle world out there...

It turns out that monster trucks are not just "monsters"; they're also cannibals, and insatiable ones, at that.

Ian and Daniel have been playing with monster trucks this week-end, and I hear constant dialog between them about "eating cars". (Alright - maybe it's not cannibalism, since cars might be considered a different species. It might be more like people eating chimpanzees, which is still somewhat nauseating to imagine...)

Right now, they have a huge collection of cars and a few monster trucks on top of a plastic crate. Ian eagerly invited me to review the gathering, which turned out to be something of a feeding frenzy. He didn't provide a lot of details, but he mentioned that the monster-trucks were "eating." I pseudo-naively pointed out that there didn't seem to be any food in the mix. At that point, Ian explained to me that the monster-trucks were eating the cars - and in fact the cars were already cooked for the occasion.
