A Cheerful Bit of Perspective

Daniel was tormenting one of the dogs, as both lads are wont to do from time to time, and as usual I scolded him rather sternly, ending in "You have to be nice to dogs, too, and not just to people."

At that point, Ian piped up, "He wasn't nice to people either."
