Monsters: the artist's rendition

Last night, Ian asked me to accompany him to the basement, whence he would retrieve his stuffed dog to bring to bed, because he was afraid of monsters. I playfully asked him about the monsters' characteristics - hinting that the closest thing we had in the house to "monsters" were our two diminutive pooches. I asked something like, "Do the monsters have four legs and a tail?"

Ian set the record straight: "No - a monster that looks like a skeleton and a monster that grabs you."
