The Dogs Know the Way to Carry the Sleigh

Ian insisted that our dogs be on leashes on Thansksiving, on the way to his grandmother's house, so that he and Daniel could hold the leashes (from their car-seats), but even that wasn't enough in and of itself:

"Daddy, can you tell me when we're half-way there? In the middle of driving, I want to switch dogs."
