The boys were in the basement, where the guinea pigs live, and I noticed that the pigs needed water, and quietly removed their water bottle, to fill it up in the kitchen.

While I was filling it up, Ian came upstairs saying, "Daddy, the guinea pigs need water."

I pointed out that I was in the process of refilling their bottle.

He asked me, "Why didn't you warn me?"
