Baby Davie and the Two Uncles

Aunt Olga and Uncle Andrew had a baby this past week, named David, and the boys are rather excited to have a new cousin.

Amy had the boys write cards to congratulate the new parents, and Daniel told me about his:

"I writed my pictures, and Uncle Olga and Uncle Andrew will see my pictures."

Uncle Olga, for the record, is female.

On the way to the hospital to see the new arrival, Amy asked Daniel, "What's your new cousin's name?"

"Uncle Andrew."

Apparently uncle is an extremely fluid category.

Finally, Amy challenged him again and he remembered the actual name - more or less:

"Davie."

I think that was inspired by one of his favorite shows, Davie and Goliath.
