Leashes, Fireman Boots, Spiderman Shirt and a Can-Do Attitude
Today, when Nikkei (our insane mongrel of suspected Cairn/Boxer/Chihuahua lineage) escaped from the house and Amy ran out to get him, Daniel followed, completely decked out for just such an occasion.
The entire wardobe consisted of:
- one Size Six Pampers Diaper - Buzz Lightyear pattern
- one blazing-red Spiderman pajama top, complete with sheer mesh faux-webbing under the shoulders
- a pair of bright-red-and-orange Fireman boots (his favorite footgear)
- One dog-leash trailing out of each fireman boot
The whole neighborhood should feel a little safer with this vigorious young man ready at a moment's notice, in a uniform that screams "Action!"

Actually, I am delighted to see that the tradition lives on, and I compliment Daniel on his can-do attitude and level of preparation.
The leashes are an especially nice touch.
