Coming to Terms

Daniel, like Ian, was very sad to learn that Buster the Hermit Crab had died, but he processed the event more methodically:

Daniel: Mommy, Buster died.

Amy: Buster died?

Daniel: Yeah, that was sad.

Amy: Oh, I'm sorry.

Daniel: Thank you, Mommy.
