Prologue

The purpose of this blog is to document the beautiful and wonderful lives of Ian Z. and Baby Daniel as close to real-time as possible, both for their (and our) long-term enjoyment and to keep friends and family on top of latest developments.

The point of this is not so much to register historical milestones per se, as to capture each day, where possible, to savor its own beauty and goodness. Nevertheless, of course I would like to capture Ian and Baby D's dates and times of growth and attainment as well, but the larger purpose is to enjoy absolutely everything they do and are and become.
