Dialog of the week
Background - Dad is bathing Ian, who hates to have his hair washed. As a result of this loathing, things have been worked out so that generally even when Dad is administering the bath, Mom will do the hairwashing task, since she is gentler in all things.
Further background: D. J. is one of the dogs.
Ian: Datty [sic], are you going to wash my body, or is Mommy going to wash my body?
Dad: D. J. is going to wash your body.
Ian (amused but concerned): Dogs don't wash boys. Just only boys wash dogs.
